OUR SERVICES

At ABHS, we understand the struggle of substance use and co-occurring disorders and the strain they can place on our daily lives. Through our Substance Use Outpatient Services, we’re here to help with personalized and professional care. Our programs are specially designed for adults in need of treatment, yet have the ability and support to recover without residential services. We believe that recovery is deeply personal, so we start by listening. Working together with individuals and their families, we help determine each person’s unique needs, identify goals, define recovery, and create personalized treatment plans. Every day we see people break the cycle of dependency, make healthier choices, and overcome addictions. With ABHS, there’s real hope for recovery.

INDIVIDUALIZED ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PLANNING

  • SCREENING – We determine each person’s eligibility for services and the best place to meet specific needs.

  • INTAKE EVALUATION – Our initial assessment matches individuals to the appropriate treatment programs and level of care.

  • INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANNING – Individuals work together with a counselor to map out a plan that identifies problems and sets personal goals.

  • PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION – For persons with co-occurring disorders.

ABHS ALSO OFFERS A NUMBER OF ADDITIONAL SUBSTANCE USE AND CO-OCCURRING DISORDER SERVICES INCLUDING:

  • CRISIS PREVENTION, INTERVENTION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES – Assistance is available from our Mobile Crisis Response Team to people who require immediate evaluation due to urgent distress.

  • INDIVIDUAL, GROUP AND FAMILY THERAPY – Evidence-based treatment to address and advance the goals of the individual’s treatment plan.

  • INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS – Programs meet three days per week to address the needs of persons in early recovery and/or struggling with relapses.
